In about two weeks, Bungie is going to unlock the doors, allowing everyone to experience the past content of Destiny 2’s upcoming expansion, The Edge of Fate. From July 8th to 22nd, you’ll have the chance to play all the expansions and episodes of this looter shooter game without any charges on every platform and marketplace.
Beyond just that, anything obtained as rewards like items, skins, and currencies, along with the unlocked Titles and Achievements, will stay with the player once Open Access concludes. This extensive assortment of content might even appeal to those uninterested in The Edge of Fate. Both The Witch Queen and The Final Shape offer compelling campaigns, while Episode 3: Heresy introduces exciting new activities and rewards.
It’s unclear if all the dungeons are free, but with Rite of the Nine, you get to explore three: Prophecy, Spire of the Watcher, and Ghosts of the Deep. This special, time-limited event also offers the associated rewards for these dungeons.
Here I go, diving into the gaming world once again! Mark your calendars, folks – Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate is set to drop on July 15th, ready for action on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Can’t wait to experience it myself! If you’re as excited as I am, be sure to check out the launch trailer right here, and get the lowdown on its post-game activities here. Let’s conquer the Edge of Fate together!
