Rogueside announced that their metal-themed survival game, *Devil Jam*, will be available on PC through Steam starting November 3rd. Versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch will be released afterwards.
Here is an overview of the game, via Rogueside:
About
Battle your way through a world of heavy metal demons and their fans! This hand-animated game puts you in a desperate fight for survival, combining fast-paced, music-driven combat with a flexible inventory system that lets you create incredibly powerful and unique demonic characters.
Okay, so the game starts with me as this totally washed-up musician, just down on my luck. I’m walking along and come across this creepy crossroads when this hooded figure shows up and asks for my guitar. They start tuning it, which is weird, and then ask if I still even *want* to play. They hand me a contract, and honestly, I’m desperate, so I sign it. HUGE mistake. Turns out the guy was the Devil, and by signing, I basically agreed to play gigs *for him*… in hell! It’s a wild setup, but I’m kinda hooked.
Stuck in the land of the dead, you’ll need to play your music and fight off waves of obsessed fans, angry crowds, and competing artists to become a legend. Your final challenge is to beat Death, the most famous metal singer ever, and earn your place among the immortals!
