Developer Devolver Digital has announced the release date for their upcoming action-packed roguelike game, Ball X Pit, which will also be available on PlayStation 5.
The news comes via the recently released trailer:
As I delve into this captivating title, it strikes me as an intriguing fusion of Breakout and Vampire Survivors! In this game, I find myself launching spheres to take down the hordes of adversaries that are making their way towards me, aiming to emerge victorious.
As you progress, your abilities will grow stronger, your skills will become more robust, and you might combine them effectively using potent combos.

Beyond the primary play sessions, there exists another facet of the game that leans more towards strategy. Over time, you will construct and develop the town of New Ballbylon, positioning various structures and parcels to gather resources and advantages for future games.
The trailer also shows off numerous playable characters, each with unique stats and abilities.
This scene appears quite chaotic yet promising. It seems it could become another engrossing roguelike game that requires skill to conquer.
On October 15th, 2025, the game will be released on PlayStation 5. Can’t wait to play Ball X Pit? Share your excitement in the comment section below!
