It’s already 2026, and honestly, some incredible games have already dropped this year! But trust me, there’s still a ton to get hyped about – the best is yet to come!
We’re planning for a lot more games in the future, and the Future Games Show Spring Showcase this week will be a great way to find them.
This year’s show will be hosted by two popular gaming personalities. We recently spoke with Devora Wilde, who plays Lae’zel and Clea, and Shai Matheson, who will soon star in the new LEGO Batman game.
Devora, the event host, said she’s thrilled with this year’s lineup, believing it’s the best yet. ‘We’ve had many great performers in the past,’ she explained, ‘but this one really stands out!’
Shai chimes in, “This double act here, we’re gonna take it on the road as well.
Many of our friends have tried it and seemed to enjoy it. We also get along well and have already spent time together before.
He quickly adds that they’re perfectly in tune with each other, even though they attempt and mess up a small performance, promising a much better one during the real show.
As Shai pointed out, this isn’t the first collaboration for these two actors. They previously worked together on Wuthering Waves, playing Scar and Galbrena, and also in the popular ‘Chicken Police’ series – which Devora highly recommends. “I really encourage everyone who hasn’t played Chicken Police to give it a try,” she said.

Okay, so Devora and Shai aren’t exactly seasoned performers – it’s not like they’re used to being on stage, you know? But they’re totally up for giving it a shot and learning as they go. They’re game to try something new, which is awesome!
Devora shared that she enjoys presenting, something she often did between acting roles. She likes it because it allows her to be herself and have fun, which is a contrast to the experience of playing a character.
She then mentioned wanting to host a show, which we later realized she was referring to Popworld.
“It’s just really enjoyable,” Shai explained. “It’s like a place where being a bit silly and over-the-top is perfectly okay. It’s not exactly real life, but it doesn’t feel completely disconnected either. Think of it like… well, I love dad jokes, so imagine a fantastic, fun cheese factory where everything is wonderfully cheesy and accepted.”
“You’ll also find yourself enjoying life more,” Devora added. “I usually feel pretty positive, but when you’re deeply involved in a challenging role, you need to be serious.”
“I don’t like being serious. Sometimes I do, but most of the time I don’t. I like the silliness.”
Devora and Shai definitely brought the fun to the Future Games Show, but they also made sure to highlight the games themselves.
Devora enthusiastically invited fans of futuristic games and shows to attend the Future Games Show, saying it was made just for them.
I wasn’t completely convinced about what’s coming next, but thankfully, Shai, knowing I enjoy games and shows, explained everything to me.
“There’s about 40 games that are showing you exclusive trailers, world premieres, deep dives.”
Devora let me know they’re planning a really funny scene at the end, and it should get a big laugh from everyone.
“We know, because we haven’t done it yet,” which is definitely, 100 per cent true and real.
We’re excited about the diverse range of games coming soon, from major releases to those created by smaller independent developers. It’s a celebration of everyone who contributes to the world of gaming.
But when can we watch such a glorious show? Thankfully, Shai is a man in the know.
The event is on March 12th. Here are the start times in different time zones: 1 PM Pacific Time, 4 PM Eastern Time, and 8 PM Greenwich Mean Time.
“Bring your G and Ts,” proclaimed Devora.
After the Spring Showcase, we’ll be broadcasting live from the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. You can watch on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
The Future Games Show kicks off at 8pm GMT on 12 March 2026.
If you want to see the whole interview where Devora and I chatted about Expedition 33, LEGO Batman, and, yeah, even showed off our socks, you gotta check out the TopMob Gaming YouTube channel!
