
Diane Keaton has died.
The celebrated actress, known for her roles in films like *Annie Hall* and *The First Wives Club*, died in California on October 11th, according to a family representative who spoke with *People* magazine. She was 79 years old.
Diane was born in Los Angeles in 1946 and began her career on stage in the 1968 Broadway production of *Hair*. She then appeared in Woody Allen’s *Play It Again, Sam*, earning a Tony Award nomination for her performance.
Diane Keaton began her successful Hollywood career in the 1970s, appearing in films like *Lovers and Other Strangers* and *The Godfather*. She also frequently collaborated with Woody Allen, starring in movies such as *Sleeper*, *Manhattan Murder Mystery*, and *Annie Hall*, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1977.
The actress enjoyed a long and successful career, becoming known for memorable roles in films like *Marvin’s Room*, *Something’s Gotta Give*, and *The Family Stone*. Her latest film is the 2024 comedy, *Summer Camp*.
