Since the Digimon Story Time Stranger demo came out last week, players have been exploring the game’s code to uncover hidden information.
The new RPG will indeed include more than 450 playable Digimon, just as Bandai Namco hinted in its promotional materials.
The base game boasts an impressive roster of 452 Digimon, making it potentially the largest in the history of Digimon games. We’re happy to be corrected by any Digimon experts who might know for sure!
The original Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth game released in 2016 included 249 Digimon, with more added through downloadable content. Its follow-up, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, expanded the collection by adding 92 more Digimon, bringing the total number of available Digimon across both games to 341.
There are a huge number of Digimon to play with, indicating that Time Stranger will likely be more expansive and ambitious than previous games in the series.
Planning to catch all 452 Digimon in Time Stranger? Let us know in the comments!
