Bandai Namco is releasing a new Digimon game next week for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s the latest installment in the popular Digimon Story series. If you haven’t been following the news about Digimon Time Stranger, the recent trailer and theme song, “Wherever You Are” by Reche, are definitely worth a look.
The scene shows Aegiomon and Inori relaxing on a rooftop with a view of Shinjuku. As we know, Shinjuku is where a major disaster is about to happen – the reason Kanans Dan and Yuki went back in time. For now, though, it’s a peaceful moment, with Inori expressing her trust in Aegiomon and her wish for them to stay together always.
The story shows a series of battles against different Digimon and amidst various disasters. Throughout it all, Aegiomon remains committed to his promise and pushes past his boundaries to safeguard his partner. We get a glimpse of his powerful Ultimate forms – Aegiochusmon, Aegiochusmon Blue, and Aegiochusmon Green. There’s much more to discover, but be careful – you might encounter spoilers!
The new game, *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, will be released on October 3rd. You can try it out now with a free demo available on all platforms, and any progress you make in the demo will carry over to the full game.
