Kalypso Media and Artefacts Studio have unveiled Disciples: Domination, the upcoming installment in the dark fantasy strategy RPG series. This tactical turn-based game is a continuation set 15 years after Disciples: Liberation, inviting players back to the shattered land of Nevendaar. The game will debut on various platforms in 2026, including PC (Microsoft Store, Steam, MacOS, Epic Games), Xbox PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation®5.
Once again, players take on the mantle of Avyanna, whose reign was once steady but now faces imminent collapse. The land of Nevendaar is more tumultuous than ever before. Factions are splintered, allegiances are faltering, and the air hums with escalating tension. From her throne in Yllian, Avyanna must tread carefully through treacherous diplomacy and ready herself for conflict. Each decision she makes will determine the destiny of her realm.
The Mountain Clans have come back, reinstating dwarves into the ongoing conflict. Avyanna finds herself allied with them, as well as four additional factions. Whom she sides with will be crucial in determining who stands by her during battles. She can gather allies with distinct abilities and histories, unraveling secrets that shape the evolving narrative.
The tactical grid system in Liberation has been improved, leading to quicker battles that offer increased interaction and a broader range of strategic possibilities. Each faction brings distinct capabilities to the table, while the harmony between units can shift the battle’s outcome in an instant. Constructing the optimal squad is crucial for survival.
In the game, players can experience live navigation within the world of Nevendaar. They’ll traverse perilous terrains, encounter both allies and adversaries, discover missions, and confront formidable beasts. To achieve success, players must enlist and enhance combat units from five unique factions.
During the Kalypso Store’s Monster Sale, which runs until August 11, and also on Steam until August 21, Disciples: Liberation is being offered with a 65% reduction in price prior to its launch.
