Album “Jagged Little Pill” stands out as one of Alanis Morissette’s most significant releases, dominating the charts for 11 consecutive weeks and maintaining its presence on them for a staggering 4 years and 9 months in total.

The album has managed to sell an impressive 33 million copies globally, positioning it among the most successful albums ever sold, surpassing iconic works such as Michael Jackson’s “Bad” and Nirvana’s “Nevermind.

In 1996, Jagged Little Pill was awarded Album of the Year and Best Rock Album at the Grammys.

Initially, the song list served as the foundation for “Jagged Little Pill: The Musical,” a production penned by Diablo Cody, known for creating the film “Juno.” This musical premiered in 2018 and subsequently earned two Tony Awards.
