Fans have been waiting a while, but a new show similar to Power Rangers is arriving in just a few days! Although the Power Rangers series is still being developed at Disney, this new show could be a fun distraction in the meantime. It might even give fans a preview of what to expect from the upcoming Power Rangers reboot.
I was so excited when Disney and MGA Entertainment announced their new show, Armorsaurs! It immediately reminded me of Power Rangers and even the old Dino-Riders series from way back when, which is awesome. The show is about a team of teenage pilots who have to save Earth from aliens, and they do it with the help of incredible armored dinosaurs. They actually have a genetic condition that allows them to bond with these dinos – it’s a really cool connection, almost like Pacific Rim, but with dinosaurs instead of giant robots! Plus, each pilot and dinosaur pair has its own unique color scheme. I can’t wait to see it!
What Sets Armorsaurs Apart?
Early reviews for the new series are coming in and are generally positive. One viewer praised the show as fun and engaging, highlighting the likeable characters and exciting action sequences. They also enjoyed the theme song and believe both adults and children will enjoy it.
This new series is based on the Korean show Armored Saurus and combines animation with live-action, offering a fresh and different viewing experience. The cast includes well-known actors like Michael Dorn (Star Trek), Julien Kang (High Kick!), Yvonne Chapman (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Andrew Russell (Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir), Jailen Bates (WITS Academy), and Avianna Mynhier (The Walking Dead), as well as newcomers Jacob Makabi, Derrick Kwak, and Sade Louise.
