I’m so excited! AdHoc Studio just announced that their superhero comedy adventure game, Dispatch, is coming to Xbox Series and PC this summer! It’ll be available through the Microsoft Store, which is awesome.
Dispatch was initially released on PlayStation 5 and PC (through Steam) on October 22, 2025. It then became available on Switch 2 and the original Switch on January 29, 2026.
Here is an overview of the game, via AdHoc Studio:
About
Created by the team behind Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, Dispatch is a funny new series about the everyday lives of superheroes working in Los Angeles today.
You are Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man. After a tough battle damages his powerful mech-suit, he’s forced to take a job at a superhero dispatch center – but not as a hero! Instead, he’s in charge of helping former supervillains turn their lives around. You’ll need to manage this unusual team, deal with office drama, and rebuild your suit so you can finally get revenge on your enemy.
Key Features
- Shape Your Story – In Dispatch, every decision you make influences the unfolding narrative. From banter in the breakroom to life-or-death situations in the field, your choices affect your relationships with the heroes, their allegiances, and the path your own story takes.
- Deploy Your Heroes – Use the strategy map to review ongoing emergencies and deploy the right (or wrong) heroes to deal with them. Balance the risks and rewards as you make tactical decisions, knowing that each choice can have lasting consequences for your team and the city.
- Manage Your Roster – Managing heroes sometimes goes beyond their powers. Each hero comes with quirks, flaws, and baggage you’ll need to navigate to keep the team together. Upgrade their skills and unlock abilities to boost their effectiveness in the field.
Dispatch is a unique blend of storytelling, strategic gameplay, and witty humor that examines the concept of heroism – and what it means to be a hero, whether you’re out in the field or working behind the scenes.
