Considering how successful Dispatch has become, most people expected a second season to be announced soon.
But apparently, developer AdHoc Studio hasn’t actually thought that far ahead. Yet.
On the latest episode of their Friends Per Second podcast, Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette, who co-founded the studio, said they’re starting to consider making a second season.
Just three weeks ago, Shorette admitted the situation was completely unclear, before Dispatch released their information. However, things are much different now.
The first season of Dispatch finishes soon! The final two episodes, 7 and 8, will be available on Wednesday, November 12th.
So, what’s AdHoc up to now that Dispatch is finished? They’re currently working on a new project, a collaboration with the incredibly popular tabletop gaming group, Critical Role, who also helped with Dispatch.
This new project is in its early stages, so we probably won’t hear about a possible continuation of Dispatch for a while.
