Square Enix has announced the latest *Dissidia* game, and it’s a bit different from what fans might expect. *Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy* is a 3v3 team battle where players work together to defeat bosses quicker than the opposing team. You can see it in action below.
This story takes place in present-day Tokyo, where beloved heroes are fighting to save the city from an unknown threat. While the villains haven’t been revealed yet – and that might be a hint – players can expect to team up with iconic characters like Cloud from *Final Fantasy 7*, Lightning from *Final Fantasy 13*, Kain Highwind from *Final Fantasy 6*, and the original Warrior of Light.
The game now features new characters like Gaia from *Final Fantasy 14* and Prompto from *Final Fantasy 15*. Players can also enjoy a continuing storyline and customize these characters with contemporary outfits.
The mobile game *Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy* is coming to iOS and Android in 2026. If you’re in the US or Canada, you can sign up now for a closed beta test. Registration is open until October 28th, and the test will run from November 7th to 14th. The developers plan to announce more playable characters soon, so be sure to visit the official website for the latest updates.
