The thirteenth season, which marks Baker’s second tenure as the Fourth Doctor, will soon be available on Blu-ray. At this point, an exact release date hasn’t been announced, but you can place your pre-orders through Amazon, HMV, or Zavvi in the meantime.
The narratives centered around Baker’s Fourth Doctor, accompanied by Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), as they confronted enemies such as the Zygons, a mechanical Loch Ness monster, and the legendary Sutekh. Notably, Sutekh appeared again to clash with Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor only last year.
Season 13 also features run-ins with the renegade Time Lord Morbius and the Krynoids.

In an interview with TopMob magazine to mark Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary, I reminisced about my memorable stint as the Time Lord. Reflecting on my iconic role, I mused, “I don’t believe there was anyone who floundered in the role of the Doctor quite like me, although it wouldn’t be fair to criticize others excessively. However, I must admit, I didn’t excel either.
In terms of advice he might offer to aspiring doctors, here’s a suggestion: “Being knowledgeable can be quite risky when you’re playing the role of a doctor, much like Doctor Who.
It’s advantageous to be ignorant and kind-hearted. By being accommodating towards others, you effectively cut your responsibilities in half since you don’t always have to take charge.
