ITV’s Fresh Cuts is returning with a new collection of powerful and real-life stories, marking both Black History Month and UK Disability History Month.
This year, the broadcaster is showcasing six bold and unique programs created by production companies led by people of color, deaf individuals, people with disabilities, or those who are neurodivergent.
As a film buff, I’m really excited about Fresh Cuts! It’s a fantastic initiative backed by ITV’s £80 million commitment to diversity, and it’s all about showcasing bold, original stories and giving a platform to exciting new voices in the industry. It feels like a real breath of fresh air.
This year’s event includes director Céin McGillicuddy from The Assembly, along with exciting new creatives Kevin Muyolo, known for his work on Daddy’s Super Yacht, and Tamara Barton-Campbell of Renaissance Studios.
