Does Emma Stone Believe in Aliens? She Says…

Emma Stone doesn’t have to travel to la la land to visit aliens.

The actor stated, during a recent interview at the Venice Film Festival for her new sci-fi movie “Bugonia”, that she is convinced there are aliens out there and they could be close to Earth.

“Yes, I’m coming out and saying it,” Emma, 36, told reporters at the event. “I believe in aliens!”

As for who inspired her to stand firm in her belief and join the UFO circle?

The actress mentioned one of her most admired individuals, astronomer Carl Sagan, and expressed her profound affection for his philosophy, science, and intelligence. She quoted him saying that the notion that we are the only intelligent life in this vast cosmos, rather than being under observation, can be quite self-centered.

It’s quite possible that the deceased scientist would have appreciated Emma’s performance in the upcoming movie “Bugonia,” directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, set to premiere on October 31. In this film, Emma’s character is abducted by a conspiracy theorist (portrayed by Jesse Plemons), who thinks she’s an extraterrestrial wandering on our planet.

In keeping with the movie’s storyline, a reporter questioned Emma – mother of 4-year-old Louise Jean with husband Dave McCary – about how she copes with being in the limelight without becoming “an alien”, to which she provided a humorously perceptive answer.

She playfully wondered, ‘How can you be sure I’m not from another planet?’ In simpler terms, the response to this might be lengthy and perhaps less engaging at the moment. It seems we all grapple with this jest in some way or another.

She went on to say, “We can all understand that sensation of someone believing they know you well, while you feel like you have little influence over your online persona separate from me. It’s like there are two versions of me: one here in this space and another with my loved ones. Although they’re the same individual, I maintain different personas to stay balanced.

She went on saying, “We can all identify with the sensation of someone believing they understand you, while you feel you have little control over your public persona. I’m not just one person; there’s the version of me here in public, and then there’s the real me, the one I am with my loved ones. They are the same individual, but to maintain my sanity, I need to express different aspects of myself.

In the bustling world of the 2010s, I found myself often admiring the unique style choice of the “Lavender Haze” singer – her preference for high-waisted pants. This fashion decision sparked quite the online buzz, with some even speculating wildly about her origins. Among these theories, one particularly intriguing one suggested that she was none other than an extraterrestrial being, born without a belly button!

Taylor even addressed the reason she kept her navel out of the spotlight.

She shared with Lucky magazine in 2014 that she prefers to keep her navel a secret. She enjoys the intrigue, as her public appearances have never revealed signs of a navel. It could be pierced, or even tattooed nearby, but since it’s hidden, no one knows. If she ever decides to get a large tattoo, it will likely be near her navel, as it remains concealed from the public.

After tabloids took photos of the singer with her friends sporting bikinis during a 2015 vacation, she eventually shared similar images on Instagram.

Or

Following paparazzi capturing pictures of the singer and her friends donning bikinis in 2015 while vacationing, she later uploaded self-taken photos of herself wearing the swimsuit on Instagram.

In Taylor’s own words during an interview on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show in 2015, she shared, “We understood, ‘Alright, it seems they have photos of us in our bikinis, and I don’t want them to earn a huge sum, like $100,000, just by stalking us.’ So we decided, ‘Let’s move up onto the bow of the boat, so we can take better bikini photos ourselves. That way, they won’t be able to make as much money from theirs.’

In response to rumors floating around online suggesting that she passed away in the 2000s and was subsequently replaced by a look-alike named Melissa, who took over Avril’s public appearances as the singer was allegedly too tired, the “Sk8er Boi” rocker addressed these theories.

The ‘Complicated’ singer humorously commented during a May 2024 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, ‘It amuses me that some people think I haven’t aged at all, while others believe there’s a secret plot suggesting I’m not who I appear to be.’

Despite the fact that the Grammy-winning artist, who is now a mother to daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir with her husband Jay-Z, made headlines by revealing her first pregnancy during a performance at the 2011 MTV VMAs, there were rumors suggesting she used a prosthetic belly bump and employed a surrogate.

Back in 2012, I found myself uttering to People magazine something utterly mind-boggling: “That was absolutely bonkers! Not hurtful, just bonkers!” Now, I’m left scratching my head and asking, “What on earth sparked this idea?

Audience members speculated that Beyoncé’s visible baby bump seemed smaller during her Australian TV show appearance several months ago, which she vehemently dismissed as “nonsensical, absurd, and untrue” via her representative at the time.

The Academy Award-winning individual responded to speculation that her spouse, Adam Shulman, bears a strong resemblance to the 16th-century playwright who was married to Anne Hathaway, sparking discussions among fans online that suggest the author of “Romeo and Juliet” may have been resurrected in modern times.

During her 2023 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress from The Princess Diaries expressed that it would be wonderful if a certain statement were true. However, she added, even if it’s not, it’s still rather delightful.

Last Friday’s songstress (born in 1984) added her perspective to the theory that the Colorado native, born in 1990 and tragically killed in 1996, did not suffer a brutal death, but instead survived to become a renowned music artist.

On a February 2025 Instagram post of the theory, Katy simply commented, “wait am i.”

During a concert in the U.K. in July 2025, the artist known for “Isn’t She Lovely” music, who was born prematurely and is blind due to retinopathy of prematurity, effectively dismissed the long-standing speculation that he possesses the ability to see.

Stevie said to the crowd, as captured on a fan’s Instagram video, “You might have heard some rumors about me and such. But let me set the record straight: In reality, I was born blind.

The Grammy-winning artist views his blindness as a valuable gift, stating, “Indeed, that was a fortunate occurrence since it enabled me to perceive the world through the lens of authenticity, of insight. To see people in the essence of who they are, not just their physical appearance. Not by skin color, but by the color of their spirit.
