We recently received the trailer for Dolly, and after watching it, we can say it’s extremely violent and graphic – it really brings to mind the intensity of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’.
The film centers around Macy, a young woman who is kidnapped by a terrifying creature with the goal of raising her as its child.
The film features Fabianne Therese (known from John Dies At The End) and Russ Tiller (Blood For Dust), alongside Eve Blackhurst, Michalina Scorzelli, and Kate Cobb (Okie). Ethan Suplee (My Name Is Earl) and Seann William Scott also star—and you’ll be surprised by what happens to his character! The movie introduces Max The Impaler as Dolly, a powerful and intimidating villain—though ‘The Impaler’ is likely a title, not his last name.
Originally a short film called Babygirl, DOLLY is now a full-length feature directed by Rod Blackhurst. It’s a loving homage to the classic slasher films of the 1970s, but with its own unique take on the genre.
