After reading about the recent events in the royal family, I must say it’s quite an interesting time for them. From the Duchess of York’s diagnosis and surgery to the Queen of Denmark abdicating her throne, there’s no shortage of drama.

The President-elect of the United States provided a glimpse into his conversation with Prince William, during their encounter at the U.K. Ambassador’s residence in Paris. Among other things, they discussed the well-being of Kate Middleton and King Charles III, who have both faced cancer challenges this year.
Trump shared with the New York Post on December 8 that during his private conversation with William, he inquired about his family’s wellbeing. He mentioned that his wife is doing fine, but his father is putting up a tough fight. Trump expressed affection for both his father and his wife, making the encounter a bittersweet moment for him.
The 78-year-old mentioned that he conversed with William, who is 42 years old, for “slightly over thirty minutes,” further noting that they had an exceptional conversation.
Moving on from news about Charles and Kate, who are parents to Prince George (age 11), Princess Charlotte (age 9), and Prince Louis (age 6) with William – Trump also expressed his thoughts on how William appeared during their visit to the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Given that William has been sporting a beard over the past few months, it’s natural to discuss this change in appearance as well.

William, who temporarily assumed responsibilities for both Kate and Charles when they withdrew from public view due to medical treatments, recently spoke openly about the challenging year experienced by his family.
William shared with reporters at the conclusion of his trip to Cape Town, South Africa on November 7th (as reported by BBC), ‘This year has been incredibly challenging for me – perhaps the most difficult one I’ve ever experienced.’
He went on to say, “Navigating everything else and ensuring everything stays in order has been quite challenging.” He added, “I can’t help but feel immensely proud of my wife and my father for their accomplishments. However, from a family perspective, it’s been incredibly tough, I must admit.
Kate and Charles have both been gradually stepping back into the limelight. Kate, along with her husband William, appeared in public for the first time as a family of five since June, on December 6th at the Princess of Wales’ fourth annual Christmas carol service, accompanied by their three children.

According to present medical guidance, it’s not expected that she will resume her public duties before Easter.
