Today is your last chance to get October 2025’s free PlayStation Plus Essential games. These games will no longer be available after November 4th, when they’ll be replaced with a new selection. You can find out what games are coming in November here.
As a reminder, subscribers are currently able to download the following three games:
- Alan Wake 2 (PS5) | Review
- Goat Simulator 3 (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Cocoon (PS5, PS4) | Review
If you’re new to PS Plus Essential, here’s a cool thing: any games you download through the service are actually yours to play as long as you keep your subscription active. It’s like building a library of games you can enjoy without worrying about losing access!
Simply claim those three titles, and you can download and enjoy them anytime, as long as you have an active subscription.
We suggest claiming all the free PlayStation Plus Essential games every month, even if you don’t plan to play them right away.
Honestly, the game lineup for October 2025 was pretty great! Our polls showed over half of us – 55% – were at least really happy with what was coming out. It definitely helped keep things exciting!
