Dorinda Medley Officially Joining RHONY Alums on E!’s Golden Life

Another New Yorker is heading to Florida.

Dorinda Medley is now part of the cast of Golden Life, a new docuseries from TopMob. The show will follow former stars of The Real Housewives of New York City – Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon – as they live their lives in Palm Beach.

The actress confirmed the rumors, announcing she’ll be joining the cast of The Golden Life in Palm Beach. She expressed excitement about reconnecting with her longtime friends, whom she affectionately calls her ‘sisters,’ after years of shared experiences and a strong bond. She’s looking forward to celebrating this new phase of their lives together.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that our favorite ladies from RHONY are starting a fresh, exciting journey down in Florida! While the scenery will be different – think sunshine and palm trees instead of cityscapes – the core of what makes this show so captivating – the friendships, the drama, and the fabulous personalities – will absolutely remain the same. It’s still all about the ladies and their lives, just with a new backdrop!

As a lifestyle expert, I’m loving what I’m seeing with this group of longtime friends! They’re really embracing this exciting new chapter of their lives, enjoying gorgeous second homes and a vibrant social life in and around Palm Beach. The show follows them as they navigate all the fun and challenges that come with dating, family, and career – and they do it with a lot of laughs and plenty of hilarious moments, of course!

Even though these are still the beloved former stars of RHONY, the show’s description hints that old conflicts will resurface when they reunite, despite a seemingly cheerful setting in Florida, after years of ups and downs.

And it wouldn’t feel right without Dorinda.

Luann jokingly suggested in an October interview with Decider that she, Sonja, and Dorinda should return. She also thinks the show needs Ramona for some drama and would love to see Kelly make a comeback.

Jill Zarin had initially been cast in the show, but was let go after making controversial remarks about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show performance.

Following comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to include her in the upcoming series, The Golden Life, the company announced on February 10th to Variety. They stated they are still dedicated to producing the show to their usual standards.

As a huge fan, I’m definitely bummed we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see them all reunited! But while we’re waiting, I’m excited to check out some other great new shows that are coming soon – so stay tuned for those!
