Dorohedoro season 2 release schedule: When are new episodes out?
Fans have been waiting for it, and the second season of Dorohedoro is finally coming to Crunchyroll on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. It will be available on the streaming service at the same time as Netflix.
The first season became a surprisingly popular hit on Netflix. Now, fans who mainly use Crunchyroll can watch the second season, which is available with other shows from MAPPA.
The continuation of the series was originally announced in 2024, with plans to release new episodes in 2025. Unfortunately, production faced setbacks because the studio, MAPPA, had a very full workload. Director Yuichiro Hayashi was already committed to other big projects like the Chainsaw Man movie and Attack on Titan, which caused delays.

What’s the plot of Dorohedoro season 2?
This is the second season of the dark fantasy anime, continuing the story from Q Hayashida’s manga. It will likely begin around chapters 6 and 7 of the original series.
Now, the story alternates between following Caiman’s adventures in the Hole and the growing problems among the Sorcerers.
Caiman and Nikaido continue their investigation, which now reveals more about En’s group, conflicts between different worlds, and the battles for power happening within the sorcerer community.
These books explore the En family’s internal workings and what drives them, while also showing how other powerful magic users and groups are getting more involved, making the overall conflict even more dangerous.
Caiman is getting closer to discovering who he really is, and clues are starting to link together the different mysteries in the story. Be prepared for more intense and violent action as the truth comes to light!
