As speculation swirls around an upcoming Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has unveiled a fresh overview trailer for the upcoming game, Drag x Drive. Scheduled to launch next month on the Nintendo Switch 2, this team-based competition centers around thrilling wheelchair basketball matches in a 3v3 format. Details about the core mechanics were initially shared during April’s Direct, but now we have more information about additional features and intricate gameplay elements that will enhance the gaming experience.
Drag x Drive features three character types for players: Guards, Centers, and Forwards. Guards excel in quick acceleration, Centers can handle hard impacts and are taller, while Forwards balance both skills. Additional exciting aspects include a gauge showing the success potential of specific shots and a 14-second time limit per possession.
Attempting flashy moves prior to taking shots may lead to higher scores, making it worthwhile to try such stylish plays. Lobbies can accommodate up to 12 players, split into two concurrent 6 versus 6 matches. Additionally, you’ll find mini-games like Circuit Sprint (a race with obstacles) and Rebound Scramble (grab a falling ball before others).
Take a look at the trailer to learn about customization options, difficulties, and additional features for the game “Drag x Drive“. The game will be available on August 14th for Nintendo Switch 2.
