Lately, Dragon Ball has been making waves with the well-received anime “Dragon Ball Diama” and the game “Dragon Ball Sparking Zero” reigniting interest among gamers. Although it’s not the top series in the franchise (that title goes to “Z”), “Dragon Ball GT” remains popular, especially since it features one of the coolest transformations – Super Saiyan 4. This transformation has earned “GT” a special place in fans’ hearts, and Funko seems to agree as they’ve released some amazing Pop figures this week.
Two exclusive figures, one from Funko and another from Chalice Collectibles, present us with a Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Pop Plus) and a flocked version of SS4 Vegeta, which additionally offers a glow-in-the-dark Chase variant. The primary wave is equally impressive, featuring SS4 Gogeta, SS4 Goku, SS4 Vegeta, Android 17, and a 6-inch Super Yi-Shinron. Pre-orders for the common figures can be placed at Entertainment Earth, with Amazon set to carry them soon. Information on the exclusives can be found below, and you can stay updated on this week’s top Funko Pop releases right here.

In the latest Dragon Ball anime addition titled Dragon Ball Diama, the iconic Super Saiyan 4 transformation reappeared, bringing joy to fans. Sean Schemmel, the long-time English voice actor for Goku, delivered an exceptional performance during this transformation, with some truly extraordinary vocal work. As Comicbook’s Adam Gonzales put it, “the transformation goes beyond the initial change, showcasing a lot of primal and growling energy from Goku, and therefore, Schemmel.” The terms “primal” and “growling” are fitting descriptions for the original SS4 transformation roar from Dragon Ball GT. Despite changes in the Dragon Ball universe, it’s comforting to see certain elements remain consistent.
