It’s been nearly a year since Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO came out on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, bringing a fresh Dragon Ball fighting game to fans. As the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are set to release next month, Bandai Namco has shared a trailer showcasing all the characters available so far.
Yes, that’s all 208 of them! When the original game came out, it had 182 characters. Later, downloadable content added characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and the Dragon Ball Daima series, as well as Shallot from Dragon Ball Legends. Although the trailer ends with Goku’s famous goodbye to Buu at the end of Dragon Ball Z, it hints that even more characters are on the way.
Bandai Namco has stated that the next downloadable content is currently being developed and will introduce additional playable characters. Although a release date hasn’t been announced, fans should anticipate more information in January 2026.
While we wait for more news, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be available on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 starting November 14th. You can learn about the game’s features and see it in action here.
