Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Spike Chunsoft have revealed plans to announce additional downloadable characters for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO in January 2026, according to a recent announcement from the companies.
To mark the one-year anniversary of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Bandai Namco released a new trailer highlighting the game’s impressive roster of over 200 characters (including those available through downloadable content). In a message accompanying the trailer, they stated, “What a milestone for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO… over 200 characters and counting! We’re celebrating the game’s first anniversary with this character showcase, but there’s more to come! We’re already working on the next downloadable content, which will add even more characters. Stay tuned for further details in January 2026!”
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam. It will also be released on Switch 2 and the original Switch on November 14.
