We’re getting another addition to Dragon Ball’s Xenoverse franchise, and this one’s looking real good.
The game takes place in West City, where you’re the newest member of the Greater Saiyans, tasked with protecting the world from an unknown danger alongside your teammates. Similar to previous titles, you’ll create and play as your own character, but this time the setting is very different – a futuristic world with its own versions of social media and music streaming, all built into your Scouter.
The game seems to include a gear-based mechanic, and features character designs by the renowned Akira Toriyama, including both returning favorites and new faces. The announcement trailer revealed appearances by Piccolo and some interesting new versions of beloved characters. It looks like you’ll be able to play alongside other Saiyan recruits, all sporting uniforms similar to Saiyaman’s.
We’re incredibly excited and wish we could fast-forward to 2027 to play it now! (But expect a continuous flow of news and updates until then.) Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
