Dragon Ball Z to Release Its Funniest Merch of All Time: “Trunks Trunks”

It’s been quiet in the world of Dragon Ball since Dragon Ball Daima finished airing, and fans are eager for more adventures with Goku and the Saiyans. While a major event is planned for 2026, it looks like we won’t see a new series this year. Instead, the franchise is surprisingly releasing a lot of new merchandise, featuring not only a different version of Vegeta’s son, but many other beloved characters from the Dragon Ball universe.

I’ve been watching HipShop for a while now, and they really know their Dragon Ball! They’ve already released three Dragon Ballthemed clothing lines, and their fourth one is diving into the Cell Saga. This time around, Future Trunks is a big focus, with designs featuring both his normal and Super Saiyan forms. But it’s not just Trunks – the underwear line also includes characters like Vegeta, Goku, Cell, and all the Androids from 16 to 20. If you’re a Dragon Ball* fan, you’ll be happy to know pre-orders start November 7th, and you can check out the new designs by clicking here to see them for yourself.

The Future of Trunks

We last saw Future Trunks during the Goku Black Arc in Dragon Ball Super, where he assisted in the battle against Zamasu and his evil clone. He returned to a future that had changed, and his current situation is unknown. He didn’t appear in either the Moro or Granolah Arcs, and the manga hasn’t indicated if or when he’ll return.

Trunks was a key character in the recent events of Dragon Ball Super, particularly in the Super Hero storyline where he battled Cell Max and the Red Ribbon Army. Now a teenager, he balances high school life with Goten and fighting crime as the superhero known as Saiyaman X-1. He’s fighting everything from world-ending threats to everyday criminals. Fortunately, Goten and Trunks can still fuse to become Gotenks, although they need to practice to perfect the technique. With a major Dragon Ball event planned for 2026 that will reveal the franchise’s future, fans are hoping both the current and future versions of Trunks will be involved.
