Dragon Quest 12 Director Teases Announcement on May 27th

As a huge Dragon Quest fan, I’ve been practically begging for any news about Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate! It feels like forever, but it looks like Square Enix might finally be ready to share something. Yuji Horii, the creator of the series, just announced on a recent broadcast that they’re doing a livestream on May 27th where they’ll reveal what the “next game” is – fingers crossed it’s DQ12!

So, the dev just hinted at a bunch of cool stuff coming, on top of what’s already been revealed. He’s been building hype since January, saying we’d get a ton of announcements throughout the year, and now it sounds like those promises are starting to pay off. I’m really excited to see what they’ve been working on!

Everyone’s been wondering about Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate, right? It’s been delayed, and I heard there were some changes behind the scenes with the team. But Koichi Horii, the creator, has promised us it’s still happening! He said we’ll get more info slowly, bit by bit, which is good to hear. I’m really hoping to see something new soon!

This could be the first of many updates, but considering it’s the 40th anniversary of the series and it’s been almost five years since the next game was announced, fans are hoping for more substantial news. We might also see announcements about remasters of other games in the series, especially now that Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake has been released. A remake similar to Dragon Quest 7: Reimagined is also a possibility. Keep checking back for more information.
