Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Finally Launches on February 5!
Get ready for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, launching February 5th! This is a complete remake of the original Dragon Quest VII, with updated graphics, a revised story, and a new battle system. The game starts with a group of friends exploring ancient stone tablets, but quickly becomes a huge quest to save the world. Prepare for an epic adventure in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined!
The characters who accompany you in the game were created by first making large dolls, then scanning them into the digital world.

The game features charming, hand-drawn-looking characters and beautifully detailed towns and environments that resemble miniature dioramas.

Explore incredible worlds by piecing together ancient tablet fragments found across the globe.

Every stone tablet transports you to a unique world, and you’ll gain more allies as you travel through them all.

The game has been updated with more story details, including flashbacks to the character’s childhood. Plus, you can now take on side jobs during battles!

Venture Forth!
The story begins in a tiny fishing village nestled within a peaceful island—.

Our story starts on Estard Island, a landmass adrift at sea. The main character, who grew up in a small fishing village, teams up with their best friend, Kiefer—the prince of Estard—to uncover the secrets of their world. Together, they journey towards an ancient shrine hidden deep within the island’s Forbidden Place.
Begin the game by accepting your mother’s request. Once you’ve helped her, go outside and travel to Estard Castle with your friend Maribel!

Talk to your teammates! They can offer helpful tips and guidance throughout your journey, so don’t hesitate to chat with them.

Prince Kiefer will be at the castle to tell you about an old book and a piece of a stone tablet he discovered. You both agree to meet at the shrine described in the book.

You can check your goals on the map as you play. If you get turned around, look for the location marked with an exclamation point – that’s where you need to go!

Once you reach the shrine and show the fragment to the statue matching the image in the old book, you’ll hear a mysterious voice echo around you.

Kiefer is excited to realize the answer to the world’s biggest questions is close at hand. Now, he needs to search the island to discover what the statue is looking for!

The people in the island towns know things that will help you. Talk to them and look around by moving the camera to learn more.

Sometimes, you’ll need to solve a puzzle to move forward. You can find solutions by interacting with objects – try pushing or pulling them to see what happens.

Strange and dangerous monsters are attacking! Work together with Kiefer to defeat them. If your health gets low, use a medicinal herb to recover.

After you solve the statue’s mystery and go back to the shrine, the gates will unlock! Maribel, who has been following you, will join your group, and the three of you will enter…

As you piece together the stone tablet on the shrine’s pedestal, a brilliant light surrounds you. What mysteries or challenges lie beyond this blinding flash…?

Driven by a simple desire to explore, a remarkable journey begins – it’s time to discover the hidden wonders of a new world!
I’m so excited! Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is coming out on February 5th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC – you can even play it on Steam and the Microsoft Store. And the best part? A demo is available right now! If you want to learn more about the game, I’ve found a few links with details: here, here, and here.
