Square Enix has announced that the version 8.0 expansion for Dragon Quest X Online, titled Dragon Quest X Online: Stray Children of Space and Time, will be available in Japan on June 25, 2026 for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. It will cost 4,950 yen.
Version 8.0 will add a brand new story and characters to the game. More details will be revealed at the Dragon Quest X Spring Festival 2026, taking place on March 20th and 21st.
So, besides getting the game on its own, they’re also releasing a complete package – it’s called Dragon Quest X Online All-In-One Package Version 1-8 – for 5,940 yen. It’s basically the game plus everything they’ve released so far, all the updates and expansions included. It’s a pretty sweet deal if you want the whole experience right away!
