Drake Addresses Plastic Surgery Rumors

Drake started from the bottom, now he’s setting the record straight.

The artist behind “Hotline Bling,” known for his raps, dismissed rumors that he had undergone a popular cosmetic surgery called abdominal etching, where excess fat is removed from the waist area to enhance muscle definition, following a photo showing him without a shirt which sparked curiosity.

During the September 2nd episode of Bobbi Althoff’s “Not This Again” podcast, he responded, “I didn’t undergo any procedure,” when she raised the topic about rumors of him having a cosmetic treatment.

Although Drake admitted that many people get surgery regularly, he emphasized that he personally hasn’t opted for such procedures.

As a passionate admirer might put it: “Indeed, some folks have taken to labeling me as ‘BBL Drizzy’, seemingly alluding to the renowned Brazilian Butt Lift procedure I’m often associated with.

He continued, “I don’t know if my wagon looked crazy when I walked in here.”

However, Drake admitted that the photo itself did get some work done on Facetune.

Upon arriving home after my workout, I appeared quite sweaty in that photo, he explained. Perhaps he adjusted the picture’s brightness or saturation to make it appear more intense.

The Grammy winner added, “I think I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.”

In 2024, rumors about Drake having plastic surgery surfaced for the first time when Metro Boomin released a diss track named “BBL Drizzy,” amidst Drake’s disagreement with Kendrick Lamar from the Degrassi cast. The speculation resurfaced in June following a post by Drake showcasing his well-toned abs.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to clear something up – there’s been chatter about Drake’s abs being false, but let me tell you, it’s not just him who hits the gym hard! His six-pack is very much real, and it seems that even his 7-year-old son Adonis, born to artist Sophie Brussaux, shares his fitness passion. Together, they’re a father-son dynamic duo dedicating themselves to their workouts.

Drake said to Bobbi, ‘His abs are amazing, it’s unbelievable.’ He added that the person is significantly more dedicated to physical fitness than Drake has ever been or likely will be.

With a hint of doubt, Bobbi playfully retorted, “Does that mean he doesn’t need to digitally alter his physique, like many do?
