Disney’s Moana (2016) and its sequel, Moana 2 (2024), were huge hits. Moana 2 actually earned more at the box office than the original, taking in over $1 billion globally. The first Moana film is also incredibly popular on Disney+, with viewers streaming it for more than 1.4 billion hours.
Disney just dropped a new trailer for its live-action remake of Moana, giving fans a first glimpse at the characters they know and love.
