DWTS’ Jen Affleck Tearfully Reacts to Her Elimination

Jen Affleck doesn’t have to look back on her time on Dancing With the Stars with a broken heart.

The star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, who was eliminated from the show with her partner Jan Ravnik on Halloween night, is just processing everything that happened.

“This has been such a complete experience,” Jen shared with TopMob News after the October 28th episode. “I’m really looking forward to going home and writing everything down so I can remember every detail.”

Honestly, watching Jen get emotional really got to me. She was just so relieved and happy that they managed to pull everything off, and she kept saying how thankful she was for Jan. She truly believes he’s the perfect dance partner – she said she couldn’t have asked for anyone better. It was so clear how much she appreciated his patience throughout the whole process. It was a really touching moment.

Jen and Jan celebrated the spooky season with a contemporary dance routine set to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” earning a score of 34 points before finishing their performance.

As a mom myself, I completely get juggling family and everything else! For Jen, who’s raising Nora, Lucas, and little Penelope with Zac Affleck, it’s extra special. She’s not just leaving the dance floor after her time on the show, she’s bringing a little more family with her – her dance partner is now officially part of the crew!

Jen shared, “He really feels like part of the family now. My kids are always talking about him – it’s constant! Everyone clearly adores him, and I’m so thankful he was my partner.”

For Jan—who was one of Taylor’s Eras Tour dancers—he’s happy with the way their journey ended.

Oh my gosh, you guys, the pro actually said it! They said she worked SO hard for this performance, and you could see it! I was watching the replay over and over, and honestly, I felt the same way! They said they were watching the footage and just thought, ‘She absolutely nailed it, there’s nothing more she could have done!’ I’m just… I’m so unbelievably happy for her, she deserved this so much!

Jan explained that even though they were heading home, they felt good about their performance. They weren’t dwelling on what could have been better, because they had given it their all. They left everything – their heart and passion – on stage, and were happy and thankful for the experience.

Jen will likely always remember leaving Dancing with the Stars while Taylor Swift’s music was playing.

Jen shared her excitement, saying, “We finished really well, and I felt like I achieved a long-held dream. Dancing to a Taylor Swift song with one of her dancers was a huge accomplishment for me.”
