Elaine Hendrixis receiving all the love from her ensemble.
Lindsay Lohan, known for her role in The Parent Trap, had to miss the Halloween episode of Dancing With the Stars on October 28th because she was hospitalized. She injured a rib during rehearsal earlier that day, and the judges sent her lots of support.
Derek Hough began by saying, “Elaine, we’re sending you all our love and wishing you a fast recovery.”
The dance pro also mentioned the judges are eager to see her return. He discussed a recording of Elaine’s final practice for Halloween Night, which the show’s rules permit them to use for judging if a contestant can’t perform.
“It’s really hard because we have to judge that, but I know Elaine tonight would have gone up 10 gears,” Derek continued. “She is a born performer. With that said, even in that rehearsal, still so, so impressive.”
Professional dancer and guest judge Cheryl Burke shared that she’s a big fan of Elaine, and believes she and her partner, Alan Bersten, haven’t gotten enough recognition in recent weeks.
After judge Bruno Tonioli complimented Elaine and Alan on their performance, Carrie Ann Inaba excitedly shared her thoughts on Elaine’s progress throughout season 34.

“I’m so sorry to hear about this, Alan and Elaine,” she said. “She was really gaining confidence after doing so well last week, and I thought she was on her way to something great. I was already incredibly impressed watching her practice – it was fantastic.”
Carrie Ann said she thought the performer looked fantastic and that their connection was very strong and genuine. She also praised the performer’s strength and determination.
In a direct plea to Elaine, she added, “She’s gotta come back! Come on back, Elaine!”
Before the judges awarded him a perfect score of 32—with each judge giving him an 8—Alan shared news about his partner’s injury.

He told Julianne Hough that Elaine is committed to returning to perform next week, assuming they advance. Doctors have given her a complete all-clear, so he’s asking everyone to vote.
Oh my gosh, he actually said it! He messaged her, my queen, and it was the sweetest thing ever! He told Elaine – Elaine! – that he loves her, and he’s so proud of her! And then… he said he’ll see her soon! I’m literally melting! I wish I was the one getting that message! It was perfect, absolutely perfect.
