DWTS’ Rylee Arnold Speaks Out After Her & Scott Hoying’s Elimination

Rylee Arnold has been changed for good after having Scott Hoying as her dance partner.

Professional dancer from Dancing With the Stars shared her thoughts on the unexpected elimination of her and the Pentatonix singer during Wicked night on October 21st, reflecting on their experience throughout season 34 of the show.

Rylee shared in a TikTok video on October 22nd that she was really upset about her relationship with Scott ending on the show, saying it had been a wonderful season for both of them.

Despite being eliminated from the show, her initial reaction was simply thankfulness.

I’m incredibly thankful to have become such close friends with Scott,” she said. “Being able to share this season with him, and see him grow and improve each week, was amazing. I was just so proud of him for putting himself out there and doing his best, and that’s all anyone can hope for.

After all, Scott, 34, is “one of the most kind and genuine people” she knows.

Rylee shared how happy she is to have gotten to know him and to have his support. She described him as the funniest person she knows, someone who always brings positive energy wherever he goes, and said she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him this season.

Although she was the experienced dancer, Scott knew success depended on both of them working together, and Rylee was excited by how dedicated he was to doing his best in the competition.

She described his dedication as incredible. After their four-hour rehearsals, he’d go home and practice for hours, constantly improving his performance. As a dancer and teacher, she deeply appreciated his hard work and passion, and was so thankful he was part of the project and shared her enthusiasm.

Even though Rylee has been on Dancing with the Stars for three seasons, she still learned a great deal from Scott, who she considers a lifelong friend, during their time together on the show.

I’m incredibly thankful for Scott’s support this season. He helped me develop so much, and it’s amazing to reflect on all the times he was there for me. I’ll carry the lessons I learned with me throughout my life.
