Just like in real life, money is scarce in *Dying Light: The Beast*, and you’ll have plenty of things you want to buy. Luckily, there are ways to earn more in the game so you can afford the gear you’re after.
This Dying Light: The Beast guide is all about grinding Old World Money quickly and efficiently.
Dark Zones
The map shows locations with potential loot, listed as ‘Possible Loot’. Pick one that matches your skill level. It’s best to choose a spot near a ‘Safe Spot’ so you can quickly rest and reset the Dark Zone after collecting loot. Remember, better loot drops at higher levels, as the rewards scale with your character’s level.
Volatile Farming
Volatiles are very challenging enemies, almost as tough as bosses, and they drop valuable loot to match. A good strategy is to attract them back towards the UV lights near the Town Hall entrance. Damage them from a distance, and use the UV light to your advantage. You can make them stop chasing you by briefly stepping into the light, then quickly move out to continue attacking.
Infested
While zombies don’t consistently provide Old World Money, you can still earn it by defeating them in large groups. They drop a variety of items, including valuable goods that can be sold for cash.
Those are the best methods to quickly farm Old World Money in Dying Light: The Beast.
