Techland’s upcoming game, titled Dying Light: The Beast, which is essentially considered as Dying Light 3 except for its name, is yet to be released over two weeks from now. Nonetheless, the system requirements for its PC (and laptop) version have been disclosed, including the hardware specifications needed to run it at 4K/60 FPS with Ultra settings.
To start off, it’s essential that you have 70 gigabytes of storage on a solid-state drive (SSD) at hand. For a smooth gaming experience at 1080p with 30 frames per second (FPS) in low settings, you’ll need either an Intel Core i5-13400F or AMD Ryzen 7 5800F processor, coupled with 16 gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), and a graphics card such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, Radeon RX 5500 XT, or Intel Arc A750.
If you aspire to play at a higher resolution of 1440p with a steady frame rate of 60 FPS on medium settings, it’s recommended that you upgrade your graphics card to either the RTX 3070 Ti, Radeon RX 6750 XT, or Arc B850.
To achieve 4K/60 FPS gameplay at high settings, users might find it necessary to upgrade their RAM to 32 GB, whether they are Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 9 7800 X3D owners. Additionally, a graphics card such as the RTX 4070 Ti (Nvidia) or Radeon RX 7900 GRE (AMD) will be required.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’d be thrilled to share some insights about the hardware requirements for an immersive experience in this game. To truly savor the visual splendors of Ultra settings with ray tracing and Frame Generation turned on at 4K/60 FPS, you might need either an NVIDIA RTX 5070 or AMD Radeon RX 9070 (it seems there could be a misunderstanding about the Arc B850).
In addition to this, a high-performance CPU like the Core i9-14900K from Intel or the Ryzen 9 7950 X3D from AMD, coupled with 32 GB of RAM, would be ideal for seamless gameplay. Even on Medium settings, it’s undeniably a demanding game, but fear not! It promises support for Ultrawide resolutions and advanced upscalers such as Intel XeSS 2, AMD FSR 3.1, and Nvidia DLSS 4 to make the gaming experience smoother and more enjoyable.
