EA Sports FC 26 Guide – The Complete Football Ultimate Team Guide

EA Sports FC 26 introduces new ways to play and several improvements to Football Ultimate Team (FUT). Getting familiar with the best strategies will definitely help you build a successful team this year.

This EA Sports FC 26 is a complete primer on the various modes and events for FUT.

Ultimate Team Chemistry

In Ultimate Team, how well your players work together depends on their chemistry – how well they connect. This is scored from 0 to 3, and a perfect team would have a total of 33 chemistry points (3 points multiplied by 11 players).

How well players combine on the field depends on their club, league, and national team. For the best possible team chemistry, all eleven players ideally would share these three things in common.

In reality, when building your team, you’ll probably find some overlap – usually one or two shared traits – among its members’ chemistry styles.

Timing Trades

Finding good deals on trading cards usually requires waiting for prices to drop. The best time to look is typically on weekends, starting Friday evening, when most sellers are active. Because players on Xbox and PlayStation can now trade with each other, there are even more cards and sellers available.

Most sellers quickly get rid of their cards, often without considering their value, and sometimes even panic when prices fall. This creates a chance to find valuable cards at low prices – what one person discards, another can find to be a great deal.

Heroes And Icons

These special cards are strong additions to any team and offer unique bonuses based on player league and nationality, but they can be expensive to acquire. Getting them usually requires significant in-game spending. It’s best to aim for one or two of these cards and concentrate on improving regular players through the Evolution system.

Evolutions

You can improve already good player cards to their maximum potential using Evolutions. These aren’t always available for every position, but as the game seasons change, you’ll be able to complete challenges to evolve multiple players and boost their ratings.

Live Events

This special, temporary game mode lets your squad compete in unique challenges. You can find it in the Event Hub, but you might need to meet certain requirements first, like having the right team setup, player level, or completing a few matches.

Completing objectives will now reward you with things like packs, and it’s easier than ever to see what you’ve earned thanks to the updated interface.

Tournaments

This popular game mode comes back occasionally, but isn’t always playable. When it’s available, Tournaments will have specific rules and limits on how many players can join.

Gauntlets

These small groups of up to five players switch regularly, starting with new groups appearing every two weeks. In ‘Gauntlets,’ you use a different team for each match and try to complete specific goals. It’s not about eliminating opponents, but winning more often means earning better rewards.

Rivals

Rivals is still here, but with added improvements.

Before each Rivals match, you’ll get simple challenges called Bounties. If you complete them, you can earn rewards like skipping stages to advance more quickly, or common rewards like coins and packs. The best part is, you keep the rewards no matter if you win or lose the match!

Duels are like competitive Bounties, but in a Duel, you and your opponent are both trying to complete the exact same challenge.

Champions

Since the Playoffs are no longer part of Champions, you now earn qualification by collecting Champions Qualification Points and reaching a specific rank in the Rivals Division.

Challengers

If you’re finding the Divisions too difficult, Challengers provides a similar overall experience but with a less intense level of competition.

That is everything there is to know about Football Ultimate Team in EA Sports FC 26.
