Edia has pushed back the release of Earnest Evans Collection on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Japan. It was originally scheduled for December 25, 2025, but will now launch on February 19, 2026, due to an unexpected problem that needs to be fixed. The Nintendo Switch version is still on track to release on December 25th.
As we shared before, this collection will feature three classic Telenet games: El Viento, Earnest Evans, and Anett Futatabi. El Viento first came out for Genesis in Japan on September 20, 1991, and in North America the following November. Earnest Evans was originally released for Mega-CD on December 20, 1999, with a Genesis version appearing in North America in March 1992. Finally, Anett Futatabi debuted on Mega-CD in Japan on March 30, 1993.
