I’m so excited! This week, three of my favorite classic SEGA CD and Genesis games are finally coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 here in the West!
Known as the Earnest Evans Collection, this bundle features three Castlevania-inspired side-scrolling games – Earnest Evans, El Viento, and Annet Returns – perfect for anyone craving a classic retro gaming experience.
We first learned about this collection last November, while it was still being funded through crowdfunding for release in Japan. Now, Limited Run Games will be distributing it internationally, and it will be available on January 16th for $19.99.
This updated release features both CD and cartridge versions of the game Earnest Evans, plus the ability to rewind your gameplay to fix errors and save your progress at any point. It’s a great addition!
