Things are heating up in EastEnders as a long-running love triangle is finally revealed.
Okay, so this week on the show, things got really messy. I watched Kat Moon stumble upon a pretty shocking scene – her grandson, Josh, locking lips with Oscar, who, let’s not forget, is dating Josh’s twin sister, Jasmine. Talk about a complicated family dynamic! It’s a setup for some serious drama, and honestly, I’m already hooked to see how this plays out.
However, in today’s episode, it wasn’t Kat who decided to come clean about what’s been going on.
Oscar and Josh had been trying to avoid giving in to temptation for months, but they eventually did. Afterwards, both felt incredibly guilty, especially when Kat confronted Josh at his home about what she’d witnessed.
She first came to invite him to a birthday dinner celebrating both him and Jasmine. Now, she just wanted to make sure he didn’t spoil the celebration.
Kat found Oscar hiding and made him admit the truth, but asked him to not say anything around Jasmine or Oscar’s biological mother, Zoe Slater. Kat also made it clear that Oscar wasn’t welcome.
He awkwardly told Jasmine later that day he couldn’t make it to the meal, explaining he thought it would be a private family event and he wouldn’t want to impose. Jasmine was clearly disappointed with his explanation, and Zoe, not realizing the tension, decided she was going to ensure he was included.
A chilly feeling fell over the room as he walked into the Queen Vic and sat down in a chair between Kat and Jasmine.
Josh was deeply upset when Oscar and Jasmine kissed, and he felt even worse when Jasmine gave him a bracelet she’d made herself.
He realized he had to be honest with her. He dramatically interrupted the Slater family’s singing of “Happy Birthday” to reveal that Oscar had been having an affair with her – with him being the other man!
At the Walford General hospital, Ian Beale tried to make amends with Chelsea Fox.
Ever since Ian unintentionally struck her son, Jordan Williams, with his car – resulting in spinal surgery that significantly altered Jordan’s life – she has remained at the hospital.
He woke up and told her his legs felt strange, which made her worry he might never be able to walk again. Distressed, she ran into the hallway and found Ian with a teddy bear and a box of chocolates.
Wow, things got really heated! She absolutely ripped into the councillor, laying into them with everything she had. But then, it was so emotional – she just broke down crying and Ian was right there to catch her. It was a total rollercoaster of feelings!
Ian and Chelsea had a deeply honest conversation where Ian asked for her forgiveness. Chelsea confessed she also played a role in the situation, explaining she’d told Jordan to stay away while she explored a relationship with Zack Hudson. She felt that if she’d given Jordan some attention, the whole thing might have been avoided.
