EastEnders airs powerful outcome to Zoe Slater terror in BBC iPlayer release as a twist changes everything

Greg was an acquaintance of Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan), who she hired to help find her son.

After Greg attacked her, Zoe and Stacey Slater worried they’d seriously hurt him. They found him and, following a tense exchange, Greg showed up at The Queen Vic and immediately grabbed Kat.

I was completely floored when Kat tried so hard to shield Zoe and Stacey, only to discover Zoe *knew* Greg! And then the bombshell – Zoe’s son isn’t dead, he’s been alive this whole time and was even living right next door to Greg! It was a genuinely shocking twist.

Mistakenly convinced that Greg had shot her, Zoe clarified this to Kat.

The frightened women nearly talked Greg into leaving them alone, but just as he was about to go, Tommy Moon appeared. Zoe then distracted Greg by hitting him, allowing her younger brother to escape.

Tommy stopped Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati in the Square, asking for their assistance right before Jack intended to turn himself in to the police after mistakenly shooting Zoe.

After trying to distract Greg by revealing the safe’s location, a new, frightening confrontation began when he threatened Zoe with a knife.

Kat wouldn’t allow Greg to hurt her child, and after he tried to threaten her with a butter knife, she finally stopped him by hitting him with a bat, finishing with a powerful comeback.

Ravi and Jack arrived quickly. After Zoe identified the unconscious Greg as the shooter and the Slaters departed, Ravi cleaned his gun and placed it near Greg to make it look like Greg had been holding it, guaranteeing his arrest.

Outside, Tommy lied to toxic pal Joel Marshall (Max Murray) that he had been the one to stop Greg.

Zoe tearfully confessed to Kat that she felt deeply ashamed for having given up her baby boy. Later, watching a heartwarming reunion between Ryan and Wallace, Kat promised Zoe she would do everything she could to help her find him.

With Greg out of their lives, is this the start of a brighter new chapter for troubled Zoe?
