Be aware: This article reveals key plot points from the EastEnders episode that aired on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. It’s currently available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Okay, so I’m totally hooked on EastEnders right now! That new character, Jasmine Fisher – played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness – has got everyone talking, especially after Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) accidentally hit her with his car. It’s really added a layer of mystery, and I’m dying to know what’s going on with her story!
It was awful. I witnessed Nigel, a man battling dementia, accidentally hit Jasmine with his car. It happened so fast – Jasmine had just pushed a new friend, Gina Knight, to safety, and then… it was just a terrible accident. He didn’t mean to, but his dementia clearly played a part.
Nigel was stunned to find Gina unconscious and Jasmine just waking up on the ground. Jasmine immediately screamed for help and called 911.
When her phone cut out, she panicked, and begged Nigel to get help for her and Gina.
While Nigel was dealing with the situation, Jasmine hinted at a secret she’s keeping from us.
“I can’t die like this,” she uttered.
“She’s destroyed everything, and she has to face the consequences of her actions,” Jasmine said before she passed out.
Nigel informed his wife, Julie (played by Karen Henthorn), about the crash, which caused her to panic and rush him home.
George Knight (Colin Salmon) was deeply upset by what happened to Gina, and Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) was stunned to find Jasmine hurt as well.
Oscar was surprised and upset to find out Jasmine had asked her mother not to visit, and it made us even more curious about what was going on.
It was particularly odd when George mentioned that Jasmine’s mom had agreed to come, but then didn’t show up at all!
Although it wasn’t obvious what was wrong with Jasmine and Gina, Jean Slater figured out Nigel was to blame. She then told Julie she would keep quiet about it.
Julie later reassured a concerned Nigel that he hadn’t been the one driving that night, and instead claimed she was the driver who hit the girls.
While we learn what happens to those affected by the crash, we’re left wondering: who is Jasmine, and what is she hiding?
Who is Jasmine Fisher in EastEnders?

Well, there’s a lot to unpack here!
It quickly became clear that Jasmine was very focused on Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who had hired her to work at The Albert.
This made us consider if Jasmine could be Cindy’s daughter, though it’s unclear if the dates would actually line up.
Now that Jasmine has offered up some clues, though, our thoughts have veered in a new direction.
Could Jasmine be the daughter of Jackie Ford, a former cellmate of Cindy’s? If so, her comments might hint at a plan to get revenge on Cindy for cooperating with authorities against Jackie back in 1998.
Since Jackie reportedly passed away in 2023, and Jasmine’s mother appears to be still living, are we perhaps following the wrong lead?
But what if the phone number the paramedics used didn’t belong to Jasmine’s mother at all? Perhaps it was a fake number, which would explain why the woman didn’t seem concerned about the accident.
We never witnessed Cindy’s death, and we didn’t see what happened to Jackie or any of her dangerous connections. This means Jasmine could be the child of someone who opposed Cindy, and it’s possible that none of them are actually gone.
This is soap land, after all!
And what about Cindy’s daughter, Gina? Was Jasmine referring to her when she said someone had “ruined everything”?
It’s possible Jasmine is targeting Gina out of spite, wanting her to suffer the consequences – but she might also just believe Gina destroyed her plan.
Considering how much of Cindy’s life remains a mystery, we believe Jasmine is somehow involved, either directly or indirectly.
Should Cindy watch her back?
