An EastEnders local has handed themselves into the police for a stabbing they didn’t even commit.
This episode is near the end of a major storyline on the BBC soap, where Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) was manipulated by Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) into selling drugs throughout London.
Things got worse when Ravi Gulati, the leader of the operation, went on vacation and left Okie in control. Okie ignored Ravi’s instructions and held Harry Mitchell hostage in Kojo’s apartment for weeks, which led to Harry becoming dependent on drugs.
Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) discovered the situation and had to inform George Knight (Colin Salmon), who considered going to the police. Teddy cautioned that their families might be affected, but fortunately, neither Harry nor Kojo suffered any significant consequences.

That was, until, Okie returned to Albert Square in yesterday’s instalment.
In today’s episode, Harry came to Kojo’s aid after a tense confrontation at Kojo’s house. A man cornered Kojo and aggressively demanded to know what the police suspected about his connection to something, even threatening him with a knife.
As Kojo fled, a scuffle broke out and Okie was accidentally stabbed with his own weapon.
As he lay on the floor, he pleaded with Harry not to involve the police, repeatedly calling for his mother before his time ran out. At the same time, Teddy received a notification about what was happening and hurried over, discovering his son deeply upset.
As Teddy prepared to leave, he promised to fix things. Meanwhile, Nicola (played by Laura Doddington) insisted Harry needed to clean up, unable to bear seeing him struggle, while Teddy was already thinking of a different solution.

He advised Harry to take a shower, and they would contact the police once he was finished. But while Harry was away, he went back to the apartment and sat on the floor next to Okie.
Teddy had made peace with the idea of going to prison, willing to sacrifice his own freedom to protect his son from facing consequences for the tragic event.
Harry immediately knew he’d made a mistake and raced to George Street, where he saw his father being taken away by police cars, their lights flashing.
Will Teddy be sent down for the manslaughter?
