Today’s episode of EastEnders was packed with drama! While the residents were at Anthony Trueman’s wake in The Queen Vic, a wedding proposal happened, police sirens wailed, and a car sped away, creating a chaotic scene.
Kat Moon was shocked to learn her granddaughter Jasmine was responsible for Anthony’s death, and even more upset that Jasmine let her mother, Zoe Slater, take the blame.
Without a confession, there was no way that Zoe could be freed.
Chrissie Watts and Jake Moon were getting restless as they waited for Kat to tell them what the teenager was doing next.
They had no idea Jasmine was the one who’d suggested getting the murder weapon – a salt lamp – and making it look like Chrissie did it. Kat was shocked and thought their only option was to show the police the video of Anthony running at her, hoping they would believe she acted in self-defense.

Let me tell you, the scene with Vicki Fowler storming in to confront Chrissie about her father, Den, was absolutely explosive. Alice Haig really brought the heat! It was a raw, emotional showdown, and honestly, it was the catalyst Chrissie needed. Seeing that interaction, it became crystal clear she couldn’t stay in Walford any longer – it was time for her to go. A really powerful moment that felt completely earned.
They wandered out into the Square, where Joel suggested they start a new life together.
They haven’t spoken for a long time, and their falling out began when he found out she had upset Zoe last year. Chrissie accused him of trying to have her arrested, and she threatened to report him to the police for the twenty-year-old death of his brother, Danny Maskall.
Jake wanted to prove that he was committed, and asked her to give him an hour.

Jasmine was searching for her phone at the pub. She couldn’t find it – it had fallen under a table – so she went back to her original plan.
After taking the salt lamp, Kat refused to blame Chrissie and let her know their association was over.

Jake knelt down and proposed, asking his partner to try and fix their relationship. However, they needed to decide fast – the police were arriving, and Chrissie was convinced they were there for her.
The excited couple drove away after getting engaged, not realizing the flashing blue lights were actually closing in on Jasmine.
Kat had done the right thing and reported her own granddaughter.
Is this the end of the road for her?
