Jasmine Fisher, also known as Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, has been officially charged with the murder of Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) on the soap opera EastEnders.
Nearly two months have passed since the doctor was discovered dead at The Queen Vic, and Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) has been wrongly imprisoned during that time.
Until recently, Zoe’s mother, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), believed Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) was to blame. However, after getting Chrissie to return to Walford, Kat discovered the terrible truth.
As Zoe’s trial neared, she realized she had to talk to Jasmine and try to get her to confess. After some hesitation, Jasmine admitted everything – and even suggested they use the murder weapon to make it look like Chrissie was responsible.

Look, Kat and Chrissie haven’t always gotten along – they’ve actually clashed quite a bit over the years. But even though it was incredibly hard, I knew I had to do what was right and report my granddaughter. It just had to be done, no matter how much it hurt.
I really believe Jasmine when she says it was self-defense. Kat was trying to help, saying she might get a lighter sentence if we could just find the video proof. The problem is, her bag – the one with her phone that has the footage – has gone missing. It must have slipped under one of the tables somewhere, and we’re desperately trying to locate it.
Things escalated quickly – the police showed up and took the person responsible into custody. Then, I learned she was desperately pleading with her ex, Oscar Branning (played by Pierre Counihan-Moullier), to somehow track down the proof she needed. It was a really tense moment!

When Zoe got out of prison today, Jasmine immediately told the detectives that Zoe hadn’t done anything wrong. She explained she’d only defended herself and asked them to help locate a video showing Anthony attacking her.
She had only one phone call to make, and she used it to reach Oscar. He was devastated to realize how many secrets she was keeping from him. Their short conversation ended when her father, Max (played by Jake Wood), took the phone and hung up.
Oscar was deeply affected, much like Patrick Trueman, who couldn’t believe his granddaughter was capable of killing her father.

At The Vic, Zoe insisted she wouldn’t abandon Jasmine and was determined to find proof that could lessen her sentence. While Kat recognized Jasmine had flaws, she supported her daughter’s commitment to helping her.
Neither of them knew it yet, but the important clue had already been discovered. Max was reviewing the video footage in his bedroom at Peacock Palace.
What will he do with the video, and what does this mean for Jasmine?
