EastEnders airs vengeful Ravi Gulati scenes as he fights for his future in early BBC iPlayer release

Ravi Gulati, played by Aaron Thiara, has acted impulsively in EastEnders, driven by worries about what lies ahead.

Phil Mitchell has been secretly helping the police as an informant for several months, completely unaware that his new friend, Mark Fowler (played by Stephen Aaron-Sipple), was actually working with a drug gang to identify him.

Last week, Ravi learned the police were planning an operation to arrest several gang members. He worried this could involve Mark, so he warned him, allowing Mark to avoid arrest.

This confirmed to Mark that his friend’s information had definitely come from Jack Branning, and he started to wonder why the two were so friendly.

Today, the gang pressured him to eliminate the informant, and he finally located Ravi at a boxing gym. Ravi was intensely hitting a punching bag, and Mark urgently reminded him that time was running out to find the informant.

To put it bluntly, Mark said that he needed the “rat’s head on a platter”.

Ravi even offered to help confront the informant after Mark found him, but he still didn’t think the plan would work.

Mark rushed to Ravi and Priya’s apartment and broke in, quickly destroying their living room. He was frantically searching for proof that Ravi was involved in something, but Priya unexpectedly walked in and caught him red-handed.

She insisted her boyfriend wasn’t the person everyone thought he was, and explained that he and Jack had a complicated history. Because of this, Jack owed Ravi a debt, and that’s how he found out about the police operation targeting the drug gang.

Mark hesitantly believed her story, and she left to deliver some papers to Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) before starting her job at the car dealership. She didn’t have time to tidy up the apartment, so Ravi came home to a messy place.

He instantly knew who had caused the trouble and rushed to tell Priya he loved her and would fix everything. He jumped in his car and drove quickly toward Mark, nearly hitting him in the process.

Mark realized what was going on and quickly got into the passenger seat as Ravi drove away from Albert Square, speeding dangerously.
