EastEnders’ Bea Pollard makes devious move in bizarre plot against Billy Mitchell in BBC iPlayer release

Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) has made herself very comfortable in the Mitchell household.

A new character on EastEnders quickly became friends with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) at a school reunion for Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). They later asked Honey to look after their house while they were on vacation in Cornwall.

While they were away, she started to feel anxious about finances and opened a credit card under Honey’s name. Bea hesitated to use the money at first, but changed her mind when she learned how difficult her friend was finding the menopause.

After arranging a stay for Honey at an expensive clinic on Harley Street, her family hoped she would be able to move in with them permanently. Honey was completely unaware of where the money for the treatment had come from.

She deliberately damaged the McKlunkys takeaway, then pretended she’d been assaulted while at work, leading Will (Freddie Phillips) to think she was hurt.

I’ve noticed Billy and Bea haven’t gotten along very well. He doesn’t really trust her, and he’s confided in Honey a few times that he thinks Bea is overstaying her welcome. It’s a bit awkward, to be honest.

Things went from bad to worse when Bea accidentally heard Kim Fox gossiping about Billy’s affair with Tina Carter back in 2017. The affair led to Billy and Honey splitting up, and it took years for them to get back together.

Bea was really angry, and when Honey asked Billy to say something nice about her clothes, Bea felt he was going too far and called him out on it.

Now that Bea was settled in, the Mitchells wanted to discuss how long she planned to stay. While they knew it couldn’t be forever, her recent purchase of a new mattress made them wonder if she was thinking of staying long-term.

Billy tried to talk to her about her spending, but her reaction left him feeling embarrassed. She got upset and went to the gardens to think things over.

I was catching bits of a conversation between Denise and Josh, and apparently Josh’s grandad, Patrick, has been really struggling with grief lately. It was sad to hear, honestly.

Grieving over how he treated his son Anthony before he passed away, Patrick found solace in new technology. Denzel Danes created a program that let Patrick communicate with a digital recreation of Anthony, allowing him to have conversations as if Anthony were still alive.

Bea became curious and immediately went home to search for a program that could change Billy’s voice.

She spoke into her phone, asking the artificial intelligence mimicking Billy to say a silly phrase: “I am Billy Mitchell and I am a prize sausage.”

And it worked.

What will Bea do with this fake version of Billy?
