EastEnders caught in TV schedule shake-up tonight – here’s when you can next watch

As a big fan of EastEnders, I was a little bummed to find out there’s no new episode on tonight. It’s been moved from the usual schedule, so we’ll all have to wait a bit longer to see what’s happening in Walford!

Our visit to Albert Square on Thursday evening has been rescheduled because of the broadcaster’s 72nd annual Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

Yesterday’s episode ended with a shocking reveal: Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) admitted to stealing the money raised for charity from the Queen Vic quiz.

As viewers may remember, she was tricked out of $3,000 by a fake doctor who promised a cure for her baby Jimmy’s blindness with an experimental treatment. When she tried to confirm he’d received the money, the doctor had disappeared.

Only Lauren’s father-in-law, Ian Beale, knew she was struggling and offered to assist her. This made Max Branning, who had just returned, suspicious, as he felt something was happening between them.

He surprisingly blamed Ian for the missing money, and the two men nearly came to blows until Lauren intervened and shared a surprising piece of information.

Due to the awards show, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow, Friday, December 19th at 7:30pm to see what happens next.

Good news! You don’t have to wait – the episode is available to stream on BBC iPlayer right now, a full day ahead of schedule.

Lauren is struggling with the consequences of what happened at the pub. Meanwhile, Zoe Slater unexpectedly lends a hand to someone in need, and Julie Bates comes to a conclusion.
