Fortunately, her cancer was detected early, and she was able to have it successfully removed with a lumpectomy shortly after the new year.
Sally Kum from Breast Cancer Now explained that Sam’s story will likely connect with many who watch EastEnders. The charity shared its knowledge and experience in supporting people with breast cancer to help make the storyline realistic and true to life.
